scopivon is an AI agent platform for services and delivery teams. Connecting HubSpot lets the scopivon agent work directly with your HubSpot CRM records on your behalf, and lets you link a HubSpot deal to an scopivon project so delivery work is tied to the commercial record it came from.
With HubSpot connected, users can:
Context gaps
Ask the scopivon agent questions about HubSpot contacts, companies, deals, and tickets in natural language, and get answers grounded in live CRM data.
Data silos
Have the agent create and update HubSpot records — for example logging a deal update, correcting a company property, or creating a contact discovered during a meeting.
Data silos
Have the agent read and manage associations between HubSpot objects (for example associating a contact with a company or a deal).
Data silos
Link a HubSpot deal to an scopivon project space, so the project shows the deal name, associated company, amount, stage, and close date with a link back to the record in HubSpot.
How data flows: scopivon calls the HubSpot CRM API on demand, at the moment a user (or the agent acting for that user) asks for something. There is no scheduled or background sync, and scopivon does not bulk copy your CRM into a separate database. Each HubSpot connection is per scopivon user, and the agent can only act with the permissions of the HubSpot user who authorized it.
Before you start
An scopivon account at app.scopivon.com, in an organization where an scopivon admin has enabled the HubSpot tool (see "Configure the integration" below).
A HubSpot account with permission to install apps (HubSpot Super Admin, or a user with app installation permissions) and access to the CRM objects you want scopivon to work with.
Installation starts in scopivon, not in HubSpot: the connection is made from the scopivon Integrations settings page so it can be tied to your scopivon user and organization.
Find the HubSpot card. You can use the search box or filter by the CRM category.
Step 4
Click Connect. You are redirected to HubSpot.
Step 5
On the HubSpot Choose an account screen, select the HubSpot account you want to connect, then click Choose Account.
Step 6
Review the requested permissions on the scope approval screen. scopivon requests access to read and write HubSpot contacts, companies, and deals, and to read contact, company, and deal property definitions. See Permissions scopivon requests below for the full list.
Step 7
Click Connect app.
Step 8
You are returned to the scopivon Settings > Integrations page, and the HubSpot card now shows as Connected.
Permissions scopivon requests
scopivon requests the minimum scopes needed for the agent to read and update CRM records. Required scopes are requested at install; optional scopes enable nice-to-have behavior and can be declined without breaking the core integration.
Required scopes
Scope
Why scopivon needs it
crm.objects.companies.read
Read companies so the agent can answer questions about accounts and resolve the company associated with a deal.
crm.objects.companies.write
Create and update companies when a user asks the agent to record account information.
crm.objects.contacts.write
Create and update contacts when a user asks the agent to record or correct contact information.
crm.objects.deals.read
Read deals for deal search, and for linking a HubSpot deal to an scopivon project (name, amount, stage, close date).
crm.objects.deals.write
Update deals when a user asks the agent to record a deal change.
oauth
Required by HubSpot for the OAuth connection itself and to identify the connected portal.
Optional scopes
Scope
Why scopivon needs it
crm.objects.contacts.read
Read contacts so the agent can answer questions about people on an account.
crm.schemas.contacts.read
Read contact property definitions so the agent uses the correct internal property names and option values.
crm.schemas.companies.read
Read company property definitions for the same reason.
crm.schemas.deals.read
Read deal property definitions, including pipeline and stage options.
Configure the integration
HubSpot tools are off by default in scopivon. Two settings control them: an organization-level switch and a per-user preference.
1. Organization admin: allow the HubSpot tool
Step 1
In scopivon, go to Settings > Organization > Preferences.
Step 2
In Allowed tools, turn on HubSpot.
If an admin turns HubSpot off here, it is disabled for every user in the organization and individual users cannot re-enable it.
2. Each user: enable HubSpot tools and choose an approval mode
Step 1
Go to Settings > Tools.
Step 2
Turn the HubSpot switch on.
Step 3
Use the shield button on the HubSpot row to choose how write actions are handled:
Write actions require approval (default) — the agent asks you to approve each create, update, or delete before it runs.
Write actions run automatically — the agent performs writes without asking. Reads never require approval.
3. Optional: link a HubSpot deal to an scopivon project
Step 1
Open the scopivon project you want to link.
Step 2
In the project details, open the CRM deal selector.
Step 3
Search for the deal by name (or paste its HubSpot record ID) and select it.
Step 4
The linked deal appears on the project with its name, associated company, amount, stage, and close date, plus a link that opens the record in HubSpot. You can change or remove the link at any time from the same menu.
Use the app
All HubSpot activity in scopivon is user-initiated — there are no background jobs, scheduled syncs, or automated writes.
Manual interactions
Step 1
Ask the scopivon agent in chat, for example: "What is the current stage and amount on the Acme renewal deal?", "Update the close date on deal 12345 to the end of next month," or "Create a contact for [email protected] and associate her with Acme Corp."
Step 2
The agent uses read tools (list, search, get, and describe contacts, companies, deals, and tickets) and write tools (create, update, and delete records; list, create, and delete associations between objects).
Step 3
When your approval mode requires it, the agent shows an approval card describing the exact write it wants to make. Nothing is written to HubSpot until you approve it.
Step 4
Open the linked HubSpot deal from an scopivon project to jump straight to the record in HubSpot.
Automated interactions
None. scopivon does not run scheduled syncs, does not poll HubSpot in the background, and does not write to HubSpot unless a user asks the agent to and (in the default configuration) explicitly approves it.
Disconnect your HubSpot account from scopivon
Disconnecting stops scopivon from accessing HubSpot but changes nothing inside HubSpot. Records the agent previously created or updated stay exactly as they are; scopivon does not delete or roll back CRM data. HubSpot tools stop working in chat, and any HubSpot deal linked to an scopivon project stops resolving until you reconnect.
Step 1
In scopivon, go to Settings > Integrations.
Step 2
On the HubSpot card, open the actions menu (...).
Step 3
Click Disconnect.
scopivon revokes the refresh token with HubSpot and removes the stored credentials for your user.
Uninstall the app from HubSpot
Uninstalling removes the scopivon app and its access from your HubSpot account for every connected user. As with disconnecting, no HubSpot data is deleted: contacts, companies, deals, tickets, and properties that scopivon read or wrote remain in your HubSpot account. After uninstalling, HubSpot tools in scopivon stop working and linked deals no longer resolve until the app is reinstalled and reconnected. No scopivon content (projects, documents, chats) is deleted.
Step 1
In HubSpot, go to Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps.
